Change Your Notification Sounds
Did you know you can change the incoming message alert sounds from your individual contacts on WhatsApp?
Android users can tap on the 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘂 icon when viewing a chat thread, followed by 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 then check the box and choose your settings.
For those using WhatsApp on an iPhone, tap on the contact’s name when viewing a chat thread, then 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗲.
Might make life easier if you know which ones you can safely ignore ie: the chatter from a bored teenage
