We all know that Google can be immensely helpful when trying to remember what that actress / actor has been in before, but did you know they’ve also created many, many Easter Eggs’ that pop up when you search certain terms?

We’ve created a list of some of the best Easter Eggs from the silly to the even sillier…

Pacman

Searching for ‘Pacman’ in Google search will result in a mini, playable game appearing at the top of your search screen.

Eat as many snack pellets as you can without getting caught by Blinky, Pinky, Inky or Clyde.

Tic Tac Toe

If Tic Tac Toe is more your kind of game, then just search for ‘Tic Tac Toe’ and the game will appear at the top.

If you find it all too easy, you can change the difficulty rating from Easy to Impossible or even Play Against A Friend.

It’ll even keep score for you.

Barrel Roll

A very simple Easter Egg but fairly amusing anyway.

Just type ‘Do A Barrel Roll’ in Google search and then hold on to your desk.

What Sounds Does A Cow Make?

In case you don’t know what sounds these certain animals make, then this is the Easter Egg for you.

Simply type in ‘What Sound Does A Dog Make?’, tap the speaker icon next to the animal name and listen to the sound.

Some animal searches also feature a paw or two wherever you click your cursor.

A Teapot Easter Egg?

About as useful as a chocolate teapot, but clearly must have been funny back in 1998.

Originally designed to be an April Fool’s joke you can still see if here…you can even pour some tea into a little cup if you want.

Fidget Spinner

Along with everyone else, Google also jumped onto the 2017 fidget spinner craze by creating it’s very own fidget spinner.

Simply type in ‘Fidget Spinner’ in the Google search box and use your mouse to spin and stop it.

If that excitement doesn’t prove too much for you, you can even change the fidget to a number spinner with the option to change the size of the wheel.

Bubble Level

This is a mobile-only Easter Egg for reasons that will become quickly obvious.

Simply type in ‘bubble level’ in the Google search and place your mobile on any surface.

Metronome

A perfect Easter Egg for any musicians out there.

Simply search for ‘Metronome’, adjust the beats per minute to suit your musical masterpiece and start composing!

Super Mario Bros / Sonic The Hedgehog

Type in Super Mario Bros or Sonic The Hedgehog and click the flashing question mark on the right hand side for the Mario coins to appear or make Sonic roll into a ball and spin.

Askew

Simply type in ‘Askew’ as the search term and watch what happens to your screen.

Could be good for a practical joke?

Grogu / Mandalorian

Type in either of the words above and Grogu will appear in the corner of your screen.

He may look small and cute but he’ll destroy your screen if you click on him!
